Quiet, beautiful and full of greenery, the city will forever remain a symbol and testimony of Russian terror.
On July 2, a memorial was unveiled here dedicated to civilians who died as a result of shelling, execution or torture during the occupation in February and March last year. The memorial set consists of several steles with 501 plaques with names and surnames – some of them are blank because not all victims of Russian aggression have been identified.
The world will not forget it.
